1.How do I prepare the litter box for first use?
First read the included instructions. Place the unit on a flat, dry surface, connect the power, pour litter up to the MAX mark, and follow the app instructions (if your model uses an app) to initialize.
2.Does it need to be near a power outlet?
Recommended, for power. The plug should be easily accessible; extension cords are fine if they’re quality and grounded.
3.How long does a cleaning cycle take?
Usually a few minutes (varies by model). The cycle won’t run or will stop if the sensor detects a cat.

4.Is it safe while the cat is inside?
Yes. Built-in sensors (weight/IR) stop the cycle or prevent it from starting if the cat is in the drum. Safety note: don’t let children play with the device.
5.From what age/weight can a cat use it?
When the cat is heavy enough to trigger the weight sensor (for most models around 1–2 kg; check the manual). Supervise kittens at first.
6.Is it suitable for multiple cats?
Yes. Most models support multiple cats; you can adjust cleaning intervals so the drum isn’t used back-to-back.

7.Which litter do you recommend?
Clumping litter with fine to medium granulation. Avoid silica crystals, wood pellets, and paper litter unless explicitly allowed by the manufacturer.
8.How much litter should I pour in?
Up to the internal MAX mark or as specified by the manufacturer. Too much litter overloads the motor and reduces separation efficiency.
9.Can I use scented litter?

Connectivity & App
10.Does it connect to any Wi-Fi network?
Most commonly to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (many models don’t support 5 GHz). Use a password without special characters the device might not recognize.
11.The app doesn’t show the device—what should I do?
Check that (a) Bluetooth/Wi-Fi are on, (b) you’re close to the unit, (c) the LED status is correct (e.g., blinking = “ready to pair”), and (d) reset Wi-Fi as instructed.
Cleaning & Maintenance
12.How often should I empty the waste drawer?
As needed—typically every 5–7 days for one cat. The app or indicator may alert you when it’s nearly full.
13.How do I clean the inside of the drum?
Use the “Replace litter” function to empty the litter into a bag, wipe with a damp cloth, let it dry, then refill.
14.What if litter gets under the silicone mat?
If you see litter building up under the mat, first power off the unit, unscrew and gently remove the mat, clear the litter, wipe the base with a damp cloth, and reinstall the mat.
15.What if the silicone mat bends or loses its shape?
Likely due to the weight of the litter or cat(s). Turn off power, remove the mat, clean the unit, and reinstall it. If the mat lifts, seal the spot with clear silicone sealant.
Problems & Solutions
16.The cat won’t use the new box—any tips?
Place it where the old box was and add a bit of the cat’s previous litter to transfer scent.
17.“Jam”/clump blockage—what should I do?
Check if the litter is too fine or too moist; remove large clumps, level the litter to the mark, and reset the cycle if needed.
18.Connection/power error?
Turn the device off for 30 seconds, turn it back on, then reset Wi-Fi as instructed. If the issue persists, contact support (info@xglobal.si).
